This year’s event will include the national Collision Industry Conference; education speakers to submit their presentations for consideration
Richmond, Va.—The Carolinas Collision Association (CCA) and the Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association (WMABA) have announced that the 4th annual Southeast Collision Conference (SCC) will be May 2-3, 2025, in Richmond, Va.
This year’s event will include the national Collision Industry Conference, just prior to the kickoff of the show. As with last year, there will be national-level contributors, speakers and vendors taking part in the events. The conference is intended to move annually between the two regions to serve as many shops as possible, year over year.
“Our associations working together has been a huge win for the Southeast Collision Conference and all of our area repairers,” said CCA President and Director of Fixed Operations of K&M Collision Kyle Bradshaw. “The endeavor is to focus on opportunities for shops to grow their insights, education and connections. I’m proud to be a part of the group putting together this amazing tradeshow and education program for 2025.”
Kris Burton, WMABA President, of Rosslyn Auto Body, added, “WMABA is perpetually grateful to be part of the SCC. The partnership continues to exceed our expectations. I know we continue to say this, but we want the experience to be thought-provoking and inspiring to every individual who participates in the education and tradeshow; we want to see lives and minds changed for the better.”
The focus is not only on owners and managers, but highlighting the focus on technicians as well. The 2025 Conference will lean into the national connections shared by both associations. Those connections to the prominent leaders in the collision industry will bring the show local, regional and national vendors, as well as industry speakers and additional networking opportunities. Education at this year’s SCC will hit every segment of the repairer business.
Speaker applications now open, deadline Dec. 31
The event is also now announcing the open window for speakers to submit their presentations for consideration in the educational lineup. Collision P.R.E.P. will follow the format of seminar presentations, as well as organized panel discussions. The focus will be on relevant and timely information that addresses issues that collision repairers are currently facing. Special consideration will be given to unique or even hands-on opportunities.
The deadline for submitting a presentation is Tuesday, Dec. 31. To submit a proposal, email the following information to Chris Cage at chris@southeastcollisionconference.com. The email should contain the information in either the email body or an editable document:
• Presentation Title
• List of all presenters involved (Include Name, Title, Company, Email address)
• The presentation description
• Name at least three takeaways for the attendee
Note: there is no speaker compensation for participation as a presenter in Collision P.R.E.P.
WMABA and CCA encourage companies to support the conference through participation as a vendor sponsor. You do not have to have a booth to support, be present and visible to the industry. Click here for more information.
