The four-day course will take place Oct. 6–9, for commercial tire professionals to earn their CTS Instructor certification before the end of the year
Bowie, Md.—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has added a new Certified Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Instructor class to its 2026 training schedule.
The four-day course will take place Oct. 6–9 in Nashville, Tennessee, providing another opportunity for commercial tire professionals to earn their CTS Instructor certification before the end of the year.
The Certified CTS Instructor Program is designed for experienced commercial tire professionals who are responsible for training technicians in the field. Participants who successfully complete the program will become TIA Certified CTS Instructors and receive the credentials to certify CTS technicians within their organizations.
“We continue to see strong demand for our instructor-level training, and adding another Nashville class gives commercial tire professionals an additional opportunity to become certified this year,” said Dick Gust, TIA CEO.
“The goal is to give instructors the technical knowledge, safety information and resources they need to take that training back to their technicians and help promote safe service practices throughout the industry.”
The CTS Instructor Program consists of 19 modules covering a comprehensive range of commercial tire service topics, including OSHA regulations, road service safety, tire and wheel inspection, wheel installation procedures, single- and multi-piece tire service, inflation, tire repair, load and inflation tables, and industry guidelines.
The Oct. 6–9 class will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the first three days, with the final day scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuition for the four-day program is $950 per attendee.
