Winhere takes home prestigious award for excellence in electronic catalog data

Alliance names Winhere the 2021 Recipient of the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Receiver’s Choice Award

San Antonio, Texas—The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. has announced Winhere is the 2021 Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Receiver’s Choice Award winner. The award was presented at the Auto Care Association’s virtual Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) Knowledge Exchange virtual Conference, May 19.

Winhere was praised for its exemplary content, industry-leading accuracy, and constant efforts to improve.

“Thank you for this tremendous honor,” said Doug Labac, vice president Sales and Marketing at Winhere Brake Parts Inc. “Winhere has an outstanding team of content professionals dedicated to providing the best possible data to our partners at The Alliance. To be recognized by the Alliance for the Receiver’s Choice Award at the 2021 ACPN Conference is a tribute to our close working relationship and collaboration in growing our business together.”

The Receiver’s Choice Award honors organizations for excellence in electronic catalog data. Each year, Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper recognize a recipient that provides high-quality content, including Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standards (ACES), Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES), digital assets, and other customer specific formats.

The 2021 award was presented by the Alliance’s AST eCatalog Manager Josh Hessling.

“Winhere has both quality products and quality data, and we are proud to honor them with this recognition,” said Dale E. Hopkins, vice president and chief information officer at the Alliance. “On behalf of Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper — congratulations on this impressive feat.”

In order to be eligible for the award, Winhere was required to meet standards of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, delivery, communication, and more.

“Their content is consistently delivered when needed and meets all the requirements for true completeness,” Hessling said. “More than that, they are constantly cooperative and collaborative, working to improve how their products are represented, sold, and tracked.”

ACPN is the only community in the automotive industry that exclusively focuses on the education and professional development needs of content management professionals and promotes industry technology standards and offers a forum for discussion within the industry. Its annual conference was held online May 17-19.

The ACPN helped to create the data principles of ACES and PIES. Through these efforts, auto care catalog manager members are able to sell more product, reduce costs, and increase efficiency through catalogs.
