The five-bay building in the Berkeley/Highlands neighborhood will undergo renovations and will feature new equipment; more growth is expected
Denver—Urban Autocare has closed on a property in the popular Berkeley/Highlands neighborhood in Denver that will mark its sixth shop location in the metro area. This represents Urban Autocare’s seventh shop overall, including Avalon Motorsports (German import specialists).
The five-bay building is designed for automotive repair but has been used by a glass business in recent years. Renovations will include cosmetic updates to the lobby, fresh paint, new signage, epoxy flooring with all new Rotary lifts and an alignment system. The facility will also undergo concrete and asphalt flatwork.
Urban Autocare has procured their five existing locations by way of acquiring existing businesses and this is the first empty building it has purchased, in which they will build a new client base. Owner and President Brian Sump and Director of Operations Phil Carpenter have plans to add several more Colorado locations over the next few years.
“It is a great blessing to be able to continue executing our vision plan while pioneering how high-value, high-relationship independent automotive repair shops scale,” Sump said. “We continue to believe that more communities deserve to experience an uplifting service experience with friendly, experienced team members, transportation assistance and a robust parts and labor warranty. We can’t wait to launch our newest location in such a bustling but underserved market.”
