Albuquerque, N.M.— Larry H. Miller Albuquerque Charities and employees presented donations to two local charities recently as part of their holiday giving.
The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired received $8,700 to use to upgrade to new iPads so children may better access their learning, and the school can teach concepts with unique adaptability and accessibility.
New Mexico Dream Center received $7,500 to use toward the Winter Supply Program, which will provide essentials to homeless teens during the cold winter months, including sleeping bags, backpacks, coats, blankets, shoes, hygiene items and more.
