During their last 180 days of active duty, service members can choose to follow either a 4-or 6-month comprehensive on-the-job training program
St. Paul, Minn.—Speedy Glass USA, a Fix Network company, has announced it is now an official partner of the DOW SkillBridge program, which creates a clear pathway from military service to civilian employment through opportunities from industry partners.
The partnership comes at a critical time for the auto glass sector, which along with other skilled trades, is facing growing demand for specialized technicians. As vehicle technology becomes more advanced, modern windshield repair and replacement now often involves enhanced ADAS systems (cameras, sensors and calibration) tied to a vehicle’s safety features, making highly focused technical training and hands-on job experience essential.
Through this new collaboration, Speedy Glass is enabling service members to bring their proven technical aptitude, adaptability and leadership experience to a technology-driven trade that offers long term career growth and progression.

During their last 180 days of active duty, participating service members can choose to follow either a 4-or 6-month comprehensive on-the-job training program delivered by experienced Speedy Glass professionals where they will learn auto glass repair and replacement techniques, advanced driver assistance systems calibration, customer service, safety procedures, industry best practices and more.
Upon completion, service members will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role as an auto glass technician in select Speedy Glass locations and continue their professional development through advanced training and certification.
As a Speedy Glass employee, they can also work toward obtaining their Auto Glass Skills Council certification, valid for three years.
