Lakewood, Colo.—Longtime industry veteran Pete Kornafel is back with a second installment on aftermarket inventory management best practices with the recently released, “Inventory Management Volume 2 – And Some Observations About the Automotive Aftermarket.”
Kornafel, who is co-chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation Scholarship and Education Committee, brings insights into SKU forecasting, store assortment planning, and new techniques for managing special cases such as multiple sources.
The book also zeroes in on hub-spoke store networks, promotions, category management and supply chain collaboration, as well as Kornafel’s personal observations about the future of the U.S. aftermarket industry and short-term and long-term Covid-19 implications.
Royalties will go toward the University of the Aftermarket Foundation’s scholarship program, which has provided funding for aftermarket education programs and research since 1986.
