Alliance’s Ethan Love takes on new role as category manager

Love will focus on strengthening category management and supplier alignment to help drive value across the Alliance network

San Antonio—The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. has announced that Ethan Love has transitioned into an expanded role as Category Manager – Strategic Suppliers.

In this new position, Love will focus on strengthening category management and supplier alignment to help drive value across the Alliance network while supporting long-term strategic growth initiatives.

“Ethan has consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of both the operational and strategic sides of our business throughout his career with the Alliance,” said Justin Hebert, VP of Category Management at the Alliance. “His background in technology, data services, and category analysis gives him a unique perspective that will help strengthen supplier relationships, improve category performance, and create additional value for our shareholders and channel partners.”

Love first joined the Alliance in 2014 as a Category Analyst within the Product and Category Management Department before transitioning to Information Technology in 2018 as Business Intelligence Manager.

Over the years, he played an instrumental role in the continued growth and development of the Alliance Technology Suite, including business intelligence, data services, software, interchange, and connectivity solutions supporting shareholders, national accounts, and industry partners.

Most recently serving as Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence & Data Services, Love helped lead numerous initiatives focused on data-driven decision-making, CVHD growth opportunities, and technology solutions that enhanced communication and operational efficiency across the Alliance network.

“Ethan’s ability to combine analytical thinking with strong relationship management skills makes him a tremendous fit for this expanded role,” added Hebert. “He understands how technology, data, and supplier collaboration all work together to strengthen category performance and support the evolving needs of our members.”

Love will work closely with supplier partners and Alliance leadership to support category growth initiatives, improve alignment across strategic programs, and continue enhancing value for shareholders and customers throughout the aftermarket.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to return to Category Management in this expanded capacity and continue building strong partnerships across the industry,” Love said. “My experience in both category management and information technology has provided a unique perspective on how data, supplier collaboration, and strategic planning can work together to create meaningful value for the Alliance and its members. I look forward to continuing to support the growth and success of the organization.”
