California Tire Dealers Association launches BuyLocalTires.com

Allows consumers to purchase tires from dealer inventory, and the option to schedule an installation appointment with the dealer

Sacramento, Calif.—The California Tire Dealers Association (CTDA) today officially launched BuyLocalTires.com, a public-facing website that will allow consumers to search for tire dealers by distance from a given address, or by city, zip code or dealer name.

The site, powered by TireTutor, also provides consumers with access to real-time tire inventory (for those dealers who upgrade to that feature), the ability to purchase tires from dealer inventory, and the option to schedule an installation appointment with the dealer.

“Providing a means to drive customers to our members has been something that CTDA has envisioned for quite some time, and TireTutor has been the perfect partner to help accomplish that goal,” said CTDA Executive Director Marc Connerly. “We hope that one day BuyLocalTires.com will be as much of a household name as similar aggregator sites in the travel, home improvement and other industries.”

All CTDA members are listed on the site for free, with the opportunity to upgrade the features of their listing through the purchase of enhanced listing packages offered by TireTutor.

CTDA is offering non-members a complimentary one-year limited membership that will allow them to be displayed on the site with no out of pocket expense. To take advantage of the complimentary membership offer, dealers can contact CTDA’s Marc Connerly at mconnerly@connerlyandassociates.com or TireTutor’s Sonny Cooper at sonny@tiretutor.com or 781-664-0565.

CTDA has scheduled a free webinar to demo the website to tire dealers on Thursday, April 11, at 12 p.m. PDT. Interested dealers may register for the webinar here.
