St. Louis Park, Minn.—Vehicles For Veterans recently donated over $424,000 to Hope For The Warriors (HOPE), a national nonprofit supporting post-9/11 veterans, service members and military families.
Based in St. Louis Park, Minn., and through its Vehicles For Veterans program, Car Donation Foundation vehicle donation program provides funding to nonprofits with a mission to build better lives for injured veterans and their families in need of assistance and support.
Since 2018, Vehicles For Veterans has donated over $2.4 million to Hope For The Warriors and its programs benefiting military families.
“At Vehicles For Veterans, our mission is to transform the generosity of vehicle donors into meaningful support for veterans and their families,” said Loren Dorshow, Vehicles For Veterans executive director. “By funding nonprofits like Hope For The Warriors, we are able to contribute to the stability, strength, and community that these brave individuals and their loved ones need to thrive. Every donated vehicle becomes a catalyst for change, helping to provide critical resources, from financial and career assistance to mental health support. We are deeply proud of the impact this program has had and remain committed to supporting those who have given so much in service to our country.”
The donations to Hope For The Warriors continue to be used to fund a variety of its programs focused on providing financial, career and educational stability; physical and emotional strength; and social support that builds community.
“As the number of requests from military families continue to rise, we’re thankful for the critical and momentous support from Vehicles for Veterans,” said Robin Kelleher, founder and CEO for Hope For The Warriors. “Year after year, we reflect with gratitude and admiration on organizations, like Vehicles for Veterans, that have stood by HOPE for continuous years, and more importantly, those we serve.”
