Michael Rukov joins IMR Inc. as sales director

Rukov has more than 15 years in the industry, having held positions at RepWorks, Continental Corporation, VDO and One Stop Part Source, LLC

Franklin, Tenn.—IMR Inc., a full-service automotive market research firm, has recently hired Michael Rukov as sales director.

Rukov has more than 15 years in the automotive aftermarket industry, having held positions at RepWorks, Continental Corporation, VDO and One Stop Part Source, LLC.

Rukov’s results-oriented approach and expertise in strategic planning, sales management and product and marketing management has helped some of the aftermarket’s largest retailers achieve year-over-year sales growth and objectives across multi-functional teams, IMR stated in a news release. In addition to his sales and business development experience, Rukov is also an involved member of the Auto Care Association, having founded the Young Auto Care Networking Group (YANG), which now has more than 1,700 members nationwide.

“We are very excited to welcome Michael to the IMR sales team,” said CEO and president Bill Thompson. “He has a unique skillset derived from his extensive industry experience working in the product management, strategy, and business development sides of the aftermarket industry. We know he will be a great asset to our company and customers.”

Rukov obtained his bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College and is a graduate of Northwood University’s University of the Aftermarket Leadership 2.0 and Global Leadership 3.0 programs. He also achieved a Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designation, along with an executive MBA degree from the Northwood University DeVos School of Business.
