Recently published research examines the potential impact of aftermarket products on ADAS features
San Jose, Calif.—Luis Morales, SEMA Garage director of vehicle technology and product development, will speak at the upcoming ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle Expo in San Jose, Calif., Aug. 28-29.
As one of the only facilities in the US with ADAS research and testing facilities, the SEMA Garage recently published a white paper based on unprecedented research examining the potential impact of aftermarket products on ADAS features.
Morales will be part of the session titled “Safety Considerations and Best Practices for Advancing ADAS and AV Technologies” and will delve into the importance of the SEMA Garage’s current and ongoing research to both aftermarket companies and OEMs.
The two-day conference brings together world-leading experts in autonomous vehicle research, artificial intelligence (AI), software, sensor fusion, AV testing, validation, development, standards and safety. More than 50 speakers from international OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, research and development centers, and innovative transportation startups will share best practices and strategies. Morales will join speakers from IBM, Volvo Cars, Torc Robotics, Tier IV, The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Argonne National Laboratory and others.
