Advance Auto Parts and Worldpac to host STX, March 23-27

The Orlando event will offer techs, shop owners and service writers access to more than 250 classes taught by expert instructors

Raleigh, N.C.—Advance Auto Parts and Worldpac, a wholly-owned Advance subsidiary, will host STX on March 23-27 at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Fla. This supplier and training expo helps shops stay on the leading edge of technology and offers more specialized training classes covering more makes and models than any other automotive aftermarket training event in North America.

STX offers technicians, shop owners and service writers access to more than 250 classes taught by expert instructors from original equipment manufacturers, Worldpac Training Institute and Carquest Technical Institute. These technical and business classes are taught through hands-on and classroom instruction. STX curriculum includes more than 50 EV, hybrid, high-voltage and ADAS classes to help technicians service the most advanced vehicles on the road. The variety of courses gives attendees access to the professional training required to service new vehicle technology and manage their businesses. Additionally, all STX participants will have the opportunity to attend the supplier expo, featuring more than 100 OE, aftermarket and tool and equipment suppliers from around the world.

“STX will offer attendees access to the highest quality technical and business curriculum in the industry,” said Bob Cushing, executive vice president, Professional at Advance and president of Worldpac. “The STX experience enables our customers to stay current on vehicle systems diagnosing and servicing a new generation of technology. With the complexity of service repairs growing exponentially, our STX event provides the technical know-how to address this challenge. We are pleased for STX to be returning in-person and are proud to host the widest range of technical and business training in the automotive industry.”

Attendees will experience a fully customizable curriculum of six courses. Class options include management and financial training, a variety of diagnostic skills courses and a range of manufacturer-specific training courses.
