Glendale Acura and GLANCDA gift $15,000 to LA Trade Tech automotive repair program

Money will purchase new interactive software that mimics in-person learning, and helps with funding shortages for personal protection equipment and air filtration devices

Glendale, Calif.—The Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association (GLANCDA) continued its support of local community college automotive repair programs with a $15,000 gift to Los Angeles Trade Tech. The gift was championed by GLANCDA Director Jeanne Brewer, of Glendale Acura, and continues the mission of helping students interested in considering a career in automotive repair and technology.

In this time of COVID, the trade programs are challenged in getting students the necessary hands-on training that is crucial to their development. The gift will allow for the purchase of new interactive software that mimics some of the in-person learning, and also helps with funding shortages for the necessary personal protection equipment and air filtration devices.
