ASE partners with AutoNetTV for 50th anniversary

New video explains what ASE is and why consumers should look for ASE-certified technicians when searching for auto repairs

Leesburg, Va.—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has partnered with AutoNetTV to produce a video for use in repair facilities waiting rooms. The new video explains what ASE is and why consumers should look for ASE-certified technicians when searching for auto repairs. It also highlights ASE’s 50 years of service to the transportation industry as well as emphasizes the importance of ASE certification for quality repairs.

“We want to thank AutoNetTV for producing this video in recognition of our 50th anniversary and for an excellent job explaining ASE’s mission and value to car owners,” said Tim Zilke, ASE president and CEO. “We invite our industry partners to share this video in their waiting rooms, on their websites and social media platforms. It is a great visual tool to help repair facilities explain how employing ASE-certified technicians benefits their customers.”

For 50 years, ASE has served as an independent third-party organization that upholds and promotes high standards of service and repair through the ASE certification process. The new video covers the storied history of ASE, discusses how the complexity of today’s vehicles require highly trained professionals to perform service and repairs, and covers the broad range of ASE certification testing conducted to validate their knowledge. It also explains how repair facilities that hire ASE-certified technicians can share that information with their customers so they can feel confident they have come to the right place for service.

AutoNetTV pioneered the concept of automotive TV content for installers in 2004 and now has grown to more than 14,000 customers using its award-winning videos to explain service and repair recommendations to their customers. Its content brings customer education and awareness to the forefront, reaching customers, wherever they are, with informative videos.
