California Tire Dealers cancel New Year luncheon

TIA CEO Roy Littlefield says he welcomes another opportunity to attend in 2020

Sacramento, Calif.—Due to the pandemic, the California Tire Dealers Association (CTDA) has canceled its annual CTDA/1-800EveryRim New Year Luncheon originally scheduled for January 2021.

While CTDA President Billy Eordekian said he regrets that many old friends will not be able to gather, he equally regrets that TIA CEO Roy Littlefield will not make his first appearance at the event.

In a statement to CTDA, Littlefield said, “I was so disappointed, but appreciative of your safety and health concerns, that the industry’s greatest annual luncheon, scheduled for January, was cancelled. But if invited, I’ll be back in January 2022, and I look forward to seeing you then.”

Past luncheons have featured Federated Insurance as a top sponsor, as well as speakers representing SEMA and TIA.
