ASA Texas will immediately begin the transition to Texas Auto Care Alliance and will be contacting members to answer questions and assist them with the process
Fort Worth, Texas—The Automotive Service Association of Texas Board of Directors have voted for a move to become the Texas Auto Care Alliance (TXACA). This change comes as the Automotive Service Association dissolved affiliation agreements with their local affiliates across the country. ASA Texas will join forces with the Midwest Auto Care Alliance and other alliances, including ASA Northwest (soon to be Northwest Auto Care Alliance), ASA Illinois (soon to be MWACA Greater Chicagoland), and the recently announced ASA Pennsylvania (soon to be Mid-Atlantic Auto Care Alliance).
“I am very excited that the ASA Texas Board of Directors has chosen to join forces with the Midwest Auto Care Alliance and other Auto Care Alliance members. I feel like this will benefit our members in a very positive way and the future looks very bright for the independent automotive service professionals in Texas,” said Robert Gruener, president of ASA Texas and owner of Autotechtronics in Katy, Texas.
The ASA-Midwest affiliate, ASA’s second-largest affiliate at the time, left the Automotive Service Association to form an independent organization, the Midwest Auto Care Alliance, in September 2018. Since departing, MWACA has grown in membership numbers and services provided to its members and the industry. The newly formed Texas Auto Care Alliance plans to follow suit with the same proven-success path.

We look forward to assisting TXACA and its members with the numerous programs and benefits that have already been established through the Auto Care Alliance. As a member-focused and member-directed organization, MWACA has achieved much growth and success over the three years. With these new programs and benefits in place, TXACA will have the same results for their members, vendors and partners,” said Sheri Hamilton, MWACA Executive Director.
