AASP/NJ offers vehicle safety inspection training for license renewal

This training course will count toward 2026 NJ-MVC Auto Body License renewal due at the end of September

Nutley, N.J.—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) will offer “Vehicle Safety Inspections: A Shop Perspective” on September 24 at Dashlight Solutions in Wall Township, N.J. 

This training course will count toward 2026 NJ-MVC Auto Body License renewal due at the end of September. Attendees will receive a certificate to be used for this requirement. 

The discussion is for shop owners, managers, estimators, technicians and anyone involved in the repair process. Topics will include inspection procedures, repair planning, ADAS and calibration considerations, documentation best practices and potential safety concerns that can impact customers and repairers. 

Also on Wednesday, August 26, Kenneth Pollin, Technical Sales Specialist of NAPA Auto Parts will give “Turning TPMS & Alignment into Reliable Profit Centers.”
