Northville, Mich.—ZF Aftermarket has promoted Steve Bashir to Head of Aftermarket Sales, US & Canada. In this newly established role, Bashir will drive sales growth and advance Customer Service for ZF’s Passenger Car (PC), Commercial Vehicle (CV) and Industrial Independent Aftermarket (IAM) business lines, as well as CV Original Equipment Supplier (OES) aftermarket business in the U.S. and Canada.
As ZF’s Head of Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket, North America, Bashir has led a committed team of aftermarket professionals, driving profitable growth for the business line in the region, developing end-to-end business line strategy, ensuring full life-cycle support and championing initiatives for best-in-class customer proximity.
He joined ZF Aftermarket in August 2023 from Tenneco, where he held a number of roles with increasing responsibility, including Business Line Leader/General Manager for Aftermarket Braking.

A lifelong Michigander, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. He will be based in Farmington Hills, Mich.
