Thanks to an overwhelming outpouring of generosity, combined with matching donations from APH and the Bartlett family, the 2025 event raised $482,000. This achievement brings the fundraiser’s 13-year total to nearly $3.2 million.

All proceeds directly benefit WACOSA and its day programs, which provide meaningful work opportunities or more than 650 adults with disabilities in central Minnesota.

A highlight of this year’s event was an original production by WACOSA’s Empowered Stars, performed at GREAT Theatre Company. The show, Arrgh! A Granite City Pirates vs. Witches Sing-a-Long, was developed in partnership with the Paramount Center for the Arts. Alongside WACOSA clients, the cast included guest performers from the automotive aftermarket community, blending talents to create a shared performance.

John Washbish, advisor to the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance and a guest performer in the role of Santa, said, “Being part of this year’s production was an absolute joy. It was inspiring to see WACOSA clients, our supplier partners, and APH staff come together in such a creative and meaningful way. The collaboration not only made for a memorable performance, but also underscored our shared commitment to supporting adults with disabilities.”

Following the performance, John and Nancy Bartlett welcomed guests to their home for a cocktail reception, lobster-themed dinner and awards ceremony to show appreciation for this year’s support. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of a check to WACOSA’s executive director, Nancy Betts.

Betts stated, “This fundraiser has grown for 13 consecutive years, reaching an extraordinary milestone of more than $3 million raised. That continued support allows WACOSA to expand opportunities and tailor services that help each of our clients reach their full potential. The generosity shown year after year ensures adults with disabilities can build skills, confidence and independence that transform lives.”

Corey Bartlett, CEO of APH, added, “Achieving this $3 million milestone is something we’re extremely proud of. It speaks to the dedication of our supplier partners who make this event a success every single year. Watching WACOSA clients showcase their talents in the production was both moving and motivating — it reminds us why this mission matters and why we remain committed to supporting it for years to come.”

The annual fundraiser is made possible through the leadership of a dedicated committee, including Jay Knopick and Brad Johnson of N.A. Williams, Mark Hoffman of East Penn Manufacturing, John Oster of Tall Sales, and Pat Ryan and Kyle Shroyer of NorthPro Representatives.
