An official confirmation vote was held on Nov. 2 during the UAF board of trustees meeting in Las Vegas.
NAPA and University of the Aftermarket combine to address technician shortage with 20 individual scholarships, five are exclusively for women.
Awards include "Best TikTok" and recipients will receive a four-day conference pass with some scholarships including hotel stays.
This collaboration with TechForce is an ongoing effort to mitigate the technician shortage and promote inclusion in the industry.
Event will focus on keeping talent in the aftermarket and in support of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and Coffee Club campaign.
Scholarships are awarded to the employees or children of Federated Car Care Center members in memory of the late Art Fisher, founder of Federated Auto Parts.
