A GoFundMe page has been created for anyone interested in helping the Kahn family
Antioch, Calif.—Antioich Action Auto owner John Kahn, 55, was killed less than one month after a fire destroyed the family home. Kahn was hit on Highway 4, where the CHP reports there have already been 13 deadly crashes.
On Sept. 10 in the early afternoon, Kahn had picked up a black Chevy Tahoe for repair and was traveling back to the shop. A driver of a white Infiniti allegedly drove between a semi-truck and the SUV, when it collided with the Tahoe, causing Kahn to lose control and crash into a guardrail. He died at the scene.
Investigators will likely recommend charges against the driver of the Infiniti, CHP reported.
Family members described Kahn as a loving husband and father. His wife and business partner, Vanessa Kahn, intends to keep the shop running. A GoFundMe page has been created for anyone interested in helping the Kahn family.
