Zeigler Auto Group purchases Subaru stores in Indiana

The Rohrman Automotive Group’s Subaru dealerships have been renamed Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette and Zeigler Subaru of Fort Wayne; the deal closed on Monday

Lafayette, Ind.—Zeigler Auto Group has purchased both of Rohrman Automotive Group’s Subaru dealerships, formerly known as Bob Rohrman Subaru and Bob Rohrman Subaru of Fort Wayne. The two Indiana stores have been renamed Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette and Zeigler Subaru of Fort Wayne, respectively.

The deal which officially closed on Monday, represented acquisitions number 40 and 41, as well as Subaru dealer three and four for Zeigler Auto Group.

“Zeigler is proud to expand our family of dealerships across the Midwest with these Subaru store purchases in Lafayette and Fort Wayne, which were both top locations for us when considering a strategic expansion in Indiana,” said Aaron J. Zeigler, president and owner of Zeigler Auto Group.

Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette is one of the largest Subaru retailers in the country. The dealer sits on approximately 10.5 acres, across two parcels, with a building that’s approximately 43,000 gross square feet in size.

Zeigler Subaru of Fort Wayne sits on approximately 4.6 acres, across 3 parcels, with a building that’s approximately 14,000 gross square feet in size.

Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette and Zeigler Subaru of Fort Wayne will round out Zeigler’s Subaru portfolio totaling four retailers, joining Zeigler Subaru of Merrillville, also located in Indiana; and Zeigler Subaru of Kenosha in Wisconsin.

The dealership group also acquired four new stores in Michigan last month, signaling strong continued growth throughout the Midwest. Recently, the dealer group was honored as one of Glassdoor’s 100 Best Places to Work in the U.S. for 2023.
