Cartar launches mobile scissor lift to raise and move vehicles

“We see the movement and handling of damaged cars through the shop as a major issue today,” says Bill Cartar, of Cartar Mobile Lifts

Victoria, Austrialia—Austrialian-based Cartar Mobile Lifts has introduced its 12-volt Glidemaster mobile lift that is equipped with an onboard power pack and can be operated with a wireless control pad. The scissor lift has a four-inch lowering capacity and can lift up to nearly 6,200 pounds.

“We see the movement and handling of damaged cars through the shop as a major issue today,” Bill Cartar, managing director of Cartar Lifts, told Aftermarket Matters Weekly. “Combining the Glidemaster with the Cartar SUV Kit and the Cartar Ramp set means that there is not a car or SUV that the Glidemaster cannot roll under and then lift and move.”

In addition to mechanical and collision shops, Cartar said the lift is also ideal for mobile technicians, as well as mobile tire and brake service, and the company has strong relationships with OEMs around the world.

Carter also has facilities in California and Texas. For more information, visit www.cartar.com.au
