Bosch’s all-new Mastertech II VCI reprogramming device designed for top OEM applications

Tool is fully validated to operate with GM, Ford, FCA, Nissan/Infiniti, Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus

Warren, Mich.—Bosch has released its latest reprogramming device, the Mastertech II vehicle communication interface (VCI). Designed and assembled in the U.S., it is a J2534-1 and J2534-2 compliant VCI for OEM reprogramming and diagnostic applications.

To support technicians with a broad range of coverage spanning both foreign and domestic vehicles, the newest Mastertech tool is fully validated to operate with the top six OEM reprogramming applications: GM, Ford, FCA, Nissan/Infiniti, Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus.

It is intended to be compatible with future OE communications requirements. In addition, the pre-configured wireless and wired connections, including Wi-Fi, ethernet, and two USB A connectors, allows it to connect to a vehicle directly from a PC.

The Mastertech II VCI is environmentally sealed with an IP54 rating, protecting it from dust and water spray. The reprogramming device also supports D-PDU API, the program for accessing a VCI, and is required for GM Tech2Win and Right to Repair initiatives.
