Allen brings two decades leadership experience across the automotive aftermarket and broader commercial landscape. She succeeds Chris Garner, who will retire.
Daphne, Ala.—TERREPOWER has announced the appointment of Michelle Allen as Executive Vice President, Independent Aftermarket Sales. She succeeds Chris Garner, who plans to retire at the end of the year.
“Michelle’s customer-first mindset, commercial acumen, and proven ability to lead high-performing teams will be instrumental as we build on Chris’s strong foundation and continue to grow our Independent Aftermarket business,” said Duncan Gillis, CEO of TERREPOWER. “Her deep experience spanning distribution, professional installer, retail, and other key aftermarket channels, combined with her track record of delivering sustained growth, makes her exceptionally well-suited for this role.”
Allen stated, “TERREPOWER has built an outstanding reputation for customer partnership, innovation, and operational excellence. I’m honored to join the team and excited to work alongside our customers and employees as we build on the strong foundation Chris has established and pursue the next phase of growth.”
Allen brings more than two decades leadership experience across the automotive aftermarket and broader commercial landscape. Most recently, she served as Vice President of North America Sales – DIFM at Valvoline Global, where she held P&L responsibility for a major North American business and led a large commercial organization, delivering sustained growth across installer, service center, dealership, and distribution channels.
Garner will retire at the end of the year following his tenure with TERREPOWER, which began on January 1, 2006, and includes his transition to the company through the acquisition of Garner Electric in December 2005. Since that time, he has played a pivotal role in scaling TERREPOWER’s Independent Aftermarket Sales organization into a market-leading commercial engine.
