Synthetic power steering fluid offers multi-application coverage, expanded temp range

Edelmann Elite’s fluid meets system requirements for all major vehicle manufacturers except Honda/Acura

Dixon, Ill.—Plews & Edelmann has introduced a new, fully synthetic power steering fluid to complement its new and advanced power steering parts program. Edelmann Elite Premium Synthetic Power Steering Fluid delivers the best universal application offering on the market, according to the company, providing “exceptional coverage” for all vehicle makes and models, except Honda/Acura.

The new power steering fluid meets and exceeds OE specifications and delivers an operating temperature range of -58 °F to +400 °F, surpassing most other fluids available in the aftermarket, the company stated.

“We developed Edelmann Elite Premium Synthetic Power Steering Fluid to make it easy to service and protect power steering systems,” said Tony Edwards, VP Business Development. “We have an advanced formulation that will work in almost every vehicle on the road today and is very effective in providing exceptional protection for the entire system, even in severe driving conditions and extreme temperatures.”

Anti-wear protection

Formulated with synthetic base stocks, Edelmann Elite Premium Synthetic Power Steering Fluid conditions seals and hoses preventing leaks and minimizing pump squealing. The advanced additive technology helps to prevent system corrosion and oxidation and provides protection for all the power steering hoses and hard parts. The fluid is approved and compatible for top-off with all power steering fluids.
