Survey answers will help drive the content of technical training and certification standards across the industry
Leesburg, Va.—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has been commissioned to conduct a series of studies to identify and understand which repair tasks automotive service technicians perform most frequently.
The next survey is focused on an electrical/electronic systems task list review. The survey answers will help drive the content of technical training and certification standards across the industry. Participants do not need to be ASE Certified to take the survey.
To learn more and take the survey by Sept. 20, visit here.
As a thank you, ASE will randomly award $50 Cabela’sgift cards to 10 individuals who share their time and experience by taking the survey.
As an industry created and directed organization, ASE is dependent upon the industry for input. Certification tasks and test questions are written by industry subject matter experts (SMEs) from independent repair shops, dealers, aftermarket suppliers, OEMs and trainers. Responses from the survey will help drive certification standards as well as technical training.
