Patel joins Sonic after a tenure as SVP of marketing and merchandising at ISN and roles at Advance Auto Parts / Carquest, Pep Boys, XL Parts, and NAPA
Auburn, Ala.—Sonic, a provider of professional-grade tools, solutions, and equipment, has announced the appointment of Sanjay Patel as the company’s new Chief Commercial Officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. In his new role, Patel will oversee all facets of the Sonic distribution network.

Patel joins Sonic after a tenure as SVP of marketing and merchandising at ISN. His career includes leadership roles at Advance Auto Parts / Carquest, Pep Boys, XL Parts, and Genuine Parts Company (NAPA).

Patel’s career began as a technical support manager for Dinan Engineering, followed by six years as a parts and service director for General Motors, overseeing multiple locations in California.
