The six-location auto parts supplier, based in Chelsea, has served the greater Boston area for more than 65 years
Lake Success, N.Y.—Parts Authority, one of the aftermarket largest automotive and truck parts distributors, has announced it has acquired Gem Auto Parts Co. Inc., headquartered in Chelsea, Mass. The transaction was finalized last week on Friday, April 22.
Gem Auto Parts has served the Greater Boston area for more than 65 years. The auto parts supplier will now have access to Parts Authority’s expanded inventory and expert service, the company said. Gem and its six locations will play a pivotal role as Parts Authority continues its ongoing expansion and development.
