New partnership provides service and parts functionality to the independent reconditioning market
Denver and Macon, Ga.—Omnique, a shop management software for the automotive repair industry and many reconditioning service centers, and Wayne Reaves, a software provider for independent auto dealers, have announced a new integration to provide service and parts functionality to the independent reconditioning market.
The partnership brings together the companies’ products in a comprehensive two-way integration that facilitates data sharing between the systems for a more efficient reconditioning process. Omnique notifies Wayne Reaves of ticket updates, and Wayne Reaves pulls updated repair order data for vehicle expense tracking. Customer and vehicle information is shared for efficiency and accuracy.
“No other shop management systems are tackling the reconditioning market like Omnique,” said Cavan Robinson, general manager of Omnique. “Wayne Reaves represents the third DMS we’ve completed a recon integration with, and we’re proud to expand our service through this powerful, cloud-based system that brings so much value to users.”
The integration offers benefits including:
- Custom statuses that allow dealers to rename and reorder workflow stages with full customization.
- Convenient service and parts ordering via Omnique’s parts and labor supplier connections.
- Two-way integration that enables a push and pull of data between systems, including repair order status, inventory, and customer history.
Jason Reaves, president of Wayne Reaves, added, “Our network of independent dealers will love being able to integrate their recon operations so seamlessly into their overall business management system. These products are market leaders because of our companies’ commitment to supporting the auto aftermarket industry and helping it grow.”
