Stow, Ohio—Matco Tools has announced the relaunch of the upgraded v, designed specifically for automotive technicians and mechanics with a large tool collection. The enhanced design, built in Jamestown, N.Y., provides extra space, bright and color-changing LED lighting, plus it maneuvers easily with swivel lock casters.
The 6s design provides the extra space necessary for growing a tool collection. Starting with taller drawers that have been engineered to provide ample clearance for deep sockets, the 6s makes tool storage and access more efficient.
The latest generation of the 28” deep 6s toolbox is now 7 inches longer and features an increase in storage capacity, making it up to 12% wider than its predecessor. Select models include a longer top drawer specifically designed to accommodate a 58″ Matco pry bar (6331TB only), providing added convenience for those who require larger tools.
Upgraded swivel lock casters enhance the toolbox’s load capacity and maneuverability. Each caster can support up to 3,000 lbs. making the 6s a storage ideal for extensive tool sets and heavy-duty tools.
Another eature of the new 6s toolbox is its drawer lighting system, which offers improved visibility in low-light environments. Users can easily adjust the brightness and color of the lights with a magnetic remote control, allowing for a personalized workspace that meets individual preferences.
