Four Seasons expands line of reman compressors for EVs and hybrids

Each compressor features all new bearings, seals, gaskets, O-rings and other wear components, such as piston rings and reeds

Lewisville, Texas—Four Seasons has announced the release of six new part numbers to their remanufactured electric compressor line with coverage for late model hybrid and electric import applications, including Toyota Prius, Prius AWD-e, Prius V, Prius Plug-In, Avalon and Highlander, as well as the Lexus CT200 and RX400h.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to provide premium replacement parts for the latest hybrid and electric vehicle systems, Four Seasons continues to expand coverage for these late model applications,” said Ron Miller, director of marketing, SMP Temp Control Division.

Four Seasons offers over 1,000 remanufactured compressors covering 237 million vehicles in operation, including hybrid and electric applications. As a basic manufacturer, Four Seasons has over 45 years of experience in the re-engineering, design and development of remanufactured compressors.

Each compressor features 100 percent new bearings, seals, gaskets, O-rings and other wear components, such as piston rings and reeds.

Four Seasons is able to reduce the consumption of new mineral resources without sacrificing quality. Practicing good environmental stewardship with stringent quality controls allows 75 percent of the original internal components to be recycled.
