The addition of 67 parts numbers include brake pads, sensors, spark plugs and fuel pumps covering 25.2 million vehicles in operation
Oak Brook, Ill.—Robert Bosch has announced the addition of 67 automotive aftermarket parts in August, covering more than 25.2 million vehicles in operation across North America. These additions address servicing needs head on and reinforce the supplier as a trusted partner to shop owners and technicians. The new part numbers — which cover domestic, European and Asian vehicles — are designed to support consumers and independent repair shops with part number additions to brake pads, sensors and more.
Bosch Braking
Bosch released 20 new part numbers for Bosch Blue Brake Pads covering 3.17 million vehicles in operation for domestic OEMs. The Bosch Blue Brake Pads feature copper-free friction formulation for improved performance and are towel-wrapped for added protection.
Additionally, Bosch released 20 new part numbers for Bosch QuietCast Brake Pads, covering 3.17 million late-model Asian, domestic and European vehicles in operation. The Bosch QuietCast Brake Pads offer copper-fee friction formulations and an OE-style rubber core multi-layer shim.
Bosch Sensors
Bosch has released 25 new part numbers for multiple high-quality sensors, including 14 Oxygen Sensors, 10 Particulate Matter Sensors and one Nox Sensor covering more than 18 million vehicles in operation.
Bosch Oxygen Sensors are designed to improve fuel economy while reducing emissions, while Bosch Particulate Matter Sensors maximize fuel efficiency by initiating diesel particulate filter regeneration at the optimal time. Bosch Nox Sensors offer reliable monitoring for compliance with applicable emission standards.
Bosch Spark Plugs
Bosch additionally released one part number for Bosch EVO Spark Plugs, which features a laser-welded iridium alloy pin on the center electrode and a platinum-iridium alloy plate on the ground electrode, ensuring long service life. The new part number covers 100 thousand vehicles in operation, including late model Asian OEMs.
Bosch Fuel Pumps
Bosch also released one new part number for Bosch Fuel Pump modules, designed to extend vehicle life through ease of installation and an ability to operate under extreme temperatures and low fuel conditions. The new part number adds coverage to more than 400 thousand vehicles in operation, including popular Ford-150 models.
