Interactive, self-paced course teaches how to leverage PIES to streamline operations and improve communication with trading partners
Bethesda, Md.—The Auto Care Association has announced the release of its newest online course, “PIES for Heavy Duty,” as part of its expanding data standards e-learning series on the Auto Care Academy platform.
This interactive, self-paced course is designed to educate professionals in the heavy duty aftermarket on how to leverage the Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES) to streamline operations and improve communication with trading partners.
The PIES for Heavy Duty course offers participants a comprehensive understanding of the cataloging process and how to effectively use PIES to ensure consistent and efficient communication within the heavy duty sector. By completing this course, professionals will learn how to:
- Eliminate redundant communication and distribution efforts.
- Achieve significant time and cost savings.

The “PIES for Heavy Duty” course is now available on the Auto Care Association’s e-learning platform, Auto Care Academy. Successful completion of the course earns 0.2 CEUs toward an ACP, AAP or MAAP from Northwood University.
