MACS stated this change reflects its commitment to its core mission of providing comprehensive training and educational opportunities
Lansdale, Pa.— The Mobile Air Climate Systems Association (MACS), an organization dedicated to advancing the mobile air conditioning and vehicle thermal management industries, has announced the addition of four education board member seats to the MACS Board of Directors. Two seats will be added in 2024 with two additional seats added in 2025. These seats, which will have a two-year term, are exclusively open to qualified MACS Educational Members.
In a unanimous decision, the MACS Board of Directors approved an amendment to the bylaws to include dedicated seats for educators. MACS stated this change reflects its commitment to its core mission of providing comprehensive training and educational opportunities to professionals in the mobile air conditioning and vehicle thermal management industries.
“MACS recognizes the critical role that educators play in furthering its mission. By adding education member seats to the board of directors, the association aims to create a platform where the insights and perspectives of educators can be actively incorporated into the association’s strategic decisions and initiatives,” said Peter Coll, president and COO of the Mobile Air Climate Systems Association.
“As an organization, MACS believes educators are key stakeholders in our industry’s growth and development. Their expertise and dedication are vital in preparing the next generation of professionals who will shape the future of mobile air conditioning and vehicle thermal management systems. By including Education Members on our Board of Directors, we ensure that their valuable contributions are recognized, and their voices are heard.”
