Automotive Parts Associates also celebrates 50th anniversary as a member-owned shareholders group
Long Beach, Calif.—DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. has been awarded the 2023 Cornerstone Award by Automotive Parts Associates (APA), Inc. The cooperative is made up of more than 375 independent auto parts distributor locations across North America with more than $750 million in annual purchasing power.
APA announced this year’s awards on the last night of its annual conference held March 14-17, in Dearborn, Mich. During the dinner and closing festivities at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, APA also celebrated its 50th anniversary as a member-owned shareholders group.
“The Cornerstone Award honors the vendor that creates the most value for APA shareholders, members and customers,” said Jose Ramirez, senior manager of DENSO’s Aftermarket Sales. “It is a profound honor to be recognized for helping APA members grow their businesses at the same time they are marking this milestone.”
All APA awards are based on outstanding service to APA shareholders and support for their initiatives. Over the last 12 years, DENSO has won 10 top awards. “Our track record speaks to the tremendous partnership DENSO and APA have built over the years,” Ramirez said. “We look forward to many more years of delivering great products and services to APA members, along with all our valued customers.”
