Sacramento, Calif.—Michael Kitching of GB Remanufacturing , Inc. has been appointed to CAWA’s Board of Directors.

Alongside his father, Bill Kitching, he co-founded the company in 1986, starting in a 1,100-square-foot facility in Signal Hill, Calif. Their initial focus was on remanufactured carburetor choke pull-offs, which they distributed to carburetor rebuilders.

The company expanded its product line to include a comprehensive range of premium remanufactured gasoline and diesel fuel injectors, diesel pumps, diesel electronics, and components. GB Remanufacturing has grown to employ over 150 employees and has a catalog of more than 1,500 products.

Beyond his role at GB Remanufacturing, Kitching says he eagerly anticipates the opportunity to serve on the CAWA Board of Directors. He is also involved in industry organizations such as MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers, Auto Care and the University of the Aftermarket Foundation.
