Farmington Hills, Mich.—Akebono Brake Corporation has announced the appointment of Todd Hammond as Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast region. Hammond brings more than three decades of expertise in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Hammond’s appointment is effective immediately. He will be based in the Northeast and report directly to Erick Kinnunen, National Sales Manager.
Throughout his career, Hammond has expanded product lines and managed large key accounts. His most recent role at First Brands saw him lead significant product line growth while supporting customers through hands-on training and strategic account management.
Prior to First Brands, Hammond held sales positions at Brake Parts Inc. and NAPA, where he consistently delivered double-digit revenue growth and helped strengthen market share for his organizations.
