Advance announces MotoVisuals service and repair animations tool is now available

Animations can be shared in person with shop customers or sent via text or email with narration to talk through vehicle repairs with customers

Raleigh, N.C.—Advance Auto Parts has announced that its MotoVisuals service and repair animations tool is now available for integration into third-party digital vehicle inspection (DVI) software, shop management systems and marketing platforms used by automotive repair shops.

The first partner to incorporate MotoVisuals into its platform is Autoflow, a premier DVI tool founded by current shop owner Chris Cloutier. Shops have used Autoflow to send more than 1.4 million digital inspections to their customers seeking vehicle repair services. With this integration, Autoflow shops can now include MotoVisuals animations into DVIs to provide short, educational videos to customers that explain necessary repairs.

Advance will announce future integrations with other DVIs, shop management systems and customer relationship management tools, providing more professional repair shops across North America the opportunity to use MotoVisuals as their go-to for communicating necessary repairs to motorists.

“Thousands of shops have relied on MotoVisuals digital animations to make it easier to explain repairs to customers,” said Todd Sanders, Advance’s senior vice president, professional. “With MotoVisuals now available for integration with our technology partners, repair shops will be able to work more efficiently than ever while driving incremental business. Through technology like MotoVisuals and our assortment of quality OE and name brand parts, our enterprise is dedicated to growing the businesses of our professional customers.”

MotoVisuals’ database features more than 400 digital animations, including service and repair illustrations on ADAS, engine management, suspension, brake systems, and hybrid and EV systems. These easy-to-follow animations can be shared in person with customers or sent via text or email with narration included. This provides service writers a simple method to talk through vehicle repairs with customers.

“I believe that MotoVisuals is one of those no-brainer types of digital tools that every shop should have,” said Chris Cloutier, founder of Autoflow. “In this industry, we always discuss how we need to create transparency, and these animated videos are a perfect tool for just that. Not only do they show the components and how they work together, but also how things could go awry if one of those common components fails. Adding supporting videos into digital vehicle inspections creates perfect transparent transactions with your clients.”

When incorporating MotoVisuals into their workflow and customer communication, shops consistently report increases to their job close rate. From a customer experience perspective, these animations also build trust between shops and motorists, creating loyalty, the opportunity for shops to earn repeat business and the peace of mind for motorists to better understand why repairs are being recommended.

Monthly and annual subscriptions to MotoVisuals are also available for repair shops. Shops can sign up for a free trial today at MotoVisuals.com.
