Crash Champions enters New Hampshire, grows presence in Florida

MSO picks up three locations in the Granite State and acquires a single-location shop in Tampa

Chicago—Crash Champions has announced it has entered the New Hampshire market through the acquisition of Gate City Collision Centers. One of Southern New Hampshire’s largest auto collision repair centers, Gate City Collision has three locations comprising more than 30,000 square feet: Nashua, Merrimack and Hooksett.

“Having been named the Best Auto Collision Repair Shop in Greater Nashua for 10 years in a row, Gate City Collision has clearly set the bar for top-tier customer service and collision repair,” said Matt Ebert, founder and CEO of Crash Champions.

Mark Piekarski, founder and president at Gate City Collision Center, said his vice president in charge of operations, Brenton Piekarski, has elected to stay on as the Northeast Director of Operations for Crash Champions.

Tampa acquisition

With the acquisition of Salemi’s Body Shop, a single shop located in Tampa, Fla., Crash Champions now has 29 collision repair centers across the Sunshine State. This transaction supplements the company’s six acquisitions last month that added 13 locations to the company’s Florida footprint.

“Crash Champions has been in Florida for less than a year, but the state has quickly grown to become our second largest market in the country,” said Ebert.
