Salt Lake City, Utah—Gear Group Holdings has announced the acquisition of Today’s Class, a provider of adaptive, interactive training solutions built for the automotive aftermarket.

This acquisition builds upon the capabilities of The Institute for Automotive Business Excellence and marks a significant step forward in delivering fully integrated development solutions for independent automotive businesses.

By combining the Institute’s leadership coaching, peer performance groups, and operational accountability systems with Today’s Class’s innovative daily training platform, the Gear Group has established a comprehensive development ecosystem that supports both owners and their teams.

“While this acquisition expands our reach and capabilities, it’s important to emphasize that the team, leadership, and day-to-day operations at Today’s Class will remain unchanged,” said Wayne Marshall, CEO of Gear Group Holdings, LLC. “What makes Today’s Class special is exactly what we intend to preserve and build upon. This partnership allows them to continue doing what they do best while amplifying their impact across the industry.”
