The EPA’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality will provide an overview of vehicle inspection and maintenance programs nationally.
The program protects consumers by certifying vehicle safety systems, allowing revived salvage vehicles to be registered with DMV and safely returned to the road.
The new program will replace the existing brake and lamp inspection programs, which will end on Sept. 27.
