The new store marks the company's 85th location overall and 12th in Illinois; another location was opened in Fairway Heights in October.
As with other Plaza Tire Service stores, the new location features over 6,500 square feet of space with eight service bays.
The expansion represents the company's seventh shop in the state, located across from the Murray State to serve students, staff and community.
Based in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the company is part of the Sun Auto Tire & Service portfolio of companies.
The facility features 6,600 square feet across eight service bays and represents the company's 77th location.
