This year’s event has not only surpassed attendance records but also underscored the importance of high-quality automotive training

Gladstone, Mo.—In a show of growth and industry support, the 32nd Annual VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo, held Feb. 29 – March 3, in Kansas City, set new records. It hosted over 3,810 automotive service professionals from 47 states and seven countries, including over 360 service facilities attending for the first time, and its largest number of first-time attendees, 1,321. This year’s event also underscored the global appeal and importance of high-quality automotive training.

Travis Troy, the co-chair of the event, said, “We’re incredibly thankful for the overwhelming turnout at this year’s VISION. It’s inspiring to witness professionals from around the globe come together to exchange expertise and enhance their skills and knowledge while uniting the industry. This is a clear indication of the event’s significance and the event’s dedication to superior standards.”

Attendees completed more than 43,900 hours of training across 116 diverse training sessions, with some classes attracting up to 300 attendees. The educational program covered the latest in automotive technology, business management, and service innovations, catering to the needs of both new and seasoned professionals.

The opening general session featured entrepreneur Ed Mylett’s inspirational message, which received a standing ovation. Best-selling business book author Scott Stratten also shared his wisdom during Friday’s Power Summit management lunch.

The event also celebrated the achievements of industry leaders at the Celebration of Independents Awards Dinner & Comedy Night, which was attended by over 670 automotive service professionals. This special event honored automotive service professionals for their contributions within and outside of the industry and recognized students who are pursuing careers in the industry.
