Heavy-duty portable jump starters feature internal charger with peak amps ranging from 2200-4400
Fort Worth, Texas—Schumacher Electric Corporation has announced the relaunch of five DSR Pro Series jump starters that will be sold under the DSR165, DSR166, DSR167, DSR168 and DSR168/G model numbers.
The products now feature an internal charger with peak amps ranging from 2200-4400, which makes this class of heavy-duty, high performance jump starters truly portable. The units will be available at professional tool suppliers nationwide beginning early May.
Originally born from the vision of NHRA racing legend, Don Schumacher, the DSR Pro Series includes a range of battery chargers, maintainers, jump starters and diagnostic tools. The products are designed to offer technicians durable tools that can withstand heavy daily use in shop environments.
The internal chargers in the units work with any extension cord. At an average cost of $2 per minute to walk across the shop, this feature saves time and money. Other features include onboard charging ports, thick gauge cables that remain flexible even in cold weather, and high-performance even in extreme conditions due to AGM battery technology.
