Momentum USA company acquires Max Power Friction

The combined capabilities of New World Friction and Max Power will provide opportunity to buy a complete brake program, from Class 1 through Class 8

Cambridge, ON, CanadaMomentum USA, Inc.‘s friction company, New World Friction (NWF), announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Max Power Friction, located in Toronto, Canada. Max Power Friction is a preeminent brake pad manufacturer and specializes in the development of medium-duty and heavy-duty brake pads including air disc.

The combined capabilities of both NWF and Max Power provide its customers with an opportunity to buy a complete brake program, from Class 1 through Class 8. John Paul Amalfe, CEO/President of Momentum USA, Inc., stated that “Max Power Friction will continue to operate as Max Power with joint operational and R&D efforts aligned with New World Friction.”
