Free ASE service technician webinar: ‘EPA Vehicle Emission Tampering Educational Outreach’

Representatives from the EPA will cover the importance of proper vehicle maintenance and emissions repair

Leesburg, Va.—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. ET, entitled “EPA Vehicle Emission Tampering Educational Outreach.”

In this webinar, representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will cover the importance of proper vehicle maintenance and emissions repair.

The discussion topics will include the background and the reasoning for vehicle emission controls regulations and the negative environmental and human health impacts caused by excess vehicle emissions. The presentation will be approximately 30 minutes long with 30 minutes at the end for questions and answers.

This presentation will be followed up with two more webinars at a later date, covering the future changes to vehicle emission standards.

Participants in this webinar will receive a certificate of attendance at the live session. Allow one week for automatic email delivery of the certificate.

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available.
