Sacramento, Calif.—Doug Petersen of SSF Imported Auto Parts has been appointed to CAWA’s board of directors.
Wayne Schaack, Chair of the Board of Directors, said, “I am pleased to announce that Doug is joining the CAWA Board of Directors. He represents the WD segment of the industry, and we have been pursuing these representatives to serve on the Board. I look forward to Doug’s participation and contributions to CAWA in assisting the Association in achieving its goals as an effective and valuable automotive care industry organization.”
Petersen has 30 years of automotive experience which started as a technician and he gradually worked his way up to Manager and Area Manager for a large automotive chain in the Phoenix market. He started as an SSF Account Manager in 2007 specializing in BMW/MBZ. Doug worked his way to Pricing Manager, Director of Account Management, Head of Sales, and became Vice President of Sales in 2022.
He travels throughout the US, where he can be alongside shop owners and technicians to better understand their business challenges.
