The 2021 KIA Sorento LX gift was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides program, vehicle donor GEICO and repair partner Crash Champions

Augusta, S.C.—A veterans charity received a donation of a refurbished vehicle to assist them in enhancing the quality of life for veterans, active-duty service members and their families.

The donation, 2021 KIA Sorento LX, was made possible by the NABC Recycled Rides program, vehicle donor GEICO and repair partner Crash Champions. Additional partners included Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity, Copart and Enterprise.

The presentation took place at the American Legion, Jesse C Lynch Memorial Post 71 in North Augusta, S.C. Established in 1932, this post offers a social club for veterans and features an on-site museum honoring military history.

“We cannot begin to express our deepest gratitude to everyone involved in making this incredible vehicle donation possible, your generosity and support mean more than words can adequately convey,” said President and Iraq War veteran Chris Kreiger, Sr.

He continued, “This vehicle will make an immediate impact … helping our team continue the important work of connecting with veterans, support our service dog teams, and ensure those who have served our nation receive the assistance they deserve.

The donation was presented to Pawsitive for Heroes, a program launched in 2013 by the parent organization WNY Heroes. With this program, service dogs are provided to veterans who are in medical need and medically referred through the VA Hospitals.
